Nash is a  suburb of Texarkana and a city located in Bowie County, Texas with a population of 4,203 (2021). This city emerged in the 1870s around the junction of a branch line of the Texas and Pacific that ran from Marshall, Texas, and the mainline, which crossed the county from east to west. Hence, the reason why this area was referred to as Transcontinental Junction or sometimes as Texarkana Junction. Nash provides a mixed suburban-rural feel. Most residents refer to Nash City as a great place to call home given the affordable housing, safe neighborhoods, high-quality health care, and excellent schools that they enjoy.
